With 5G Being an established network in 2032 and 6G on the horizon --> I believe BSS would be more edge-based, wherein each edge location will have an established BSS application to suit the needs of customers. Similar to like private 5G, there would be private BSS applications designed to meet customer needs. Below are my top 5 predictions

2) Private BSS systems for Enterprise Players for private 5G or 6G deployments: BSS deployments in AWS/GCP/AZURE -- Local Zones, Wavelength, or Outpost kind of deployments. It is already happening in the case of 5G on cloud-based deployment but will become very common in 2032.

3) BSS systems to support Metaverse-based use cases billing & deployments.

4) Blockchain-based deployments for wholesale billing and settlements 

5) Wild guess -- App store kind of deployments for BSS systems in the cloud -- with the speed of 6G ( 10X of 5G) -- Customers will be able to download, deploy and configure BSS apps similar to the app store way of deployment.

AI will be present in each and every function of BSS including Billing, CRM, and network functions, optimizing real-time billing scenarios, and network-related functions. Product catalogs will become a personalized tool for each and every customer to choose and define their own packages with AI recommendations.
